Nel mio caso la taglia che porto di solito è più grande ho dovuto prendere un 41 e porto da sempre il 42, erano veramente grandi…
Quindi consiglio di misurare in cm il tacco punta arrotondando in difetto di qualche mm.Devo dire che ho il piede molto magro….
Prodotto comunque molto bello

Da un punto di vista estetico corrispondono alle aspettative. Hanno un ottima suola anti-scivolo. Unica pecca è che inzialmente il cuoio è molto duro e portarle mi ha provocato delle abrasioni sul tallone. Dopo qualche uscita il cuoio si ammorbidisce e diventano molto comode.

Comodi stivaletti per la stagione autunno/inverno. Risultano comode anche tenute addosso per molte ore al giorno.
La qualità della pelle non è eccelsa, dopo pochi giorni di utilizzo tende a opacizzarsi facilmente.

Non c'è nulla da dire: scarpe splendide, di buona fattura, comode e molto calde per l'imbottitura interna. Unico neo: la soletta non è estraibile e non possono essere indossate con i plantarini.

Belle e di qualità, ma calzata davvero strana

Avevo già acquistato in passato lo stesso modello in versione bassa, tendenzialmente calzo 43½ ma di questa scarpa ho dovuto prendere un 42½. Per l'acquisto online ho confermato il 42½, ma lo stivaletto alto ha una imbottitura che incide sulla comodità della calzata, troppo stretta sui fianchi in punta. Ho cambiato numero passando al 43, molto più comodo, forse troppo, nel senso che la scarpa è decisamente più larga e per chi ha il piede snello dà un risultato estetico che personalmente non trovo elegante, effetto vuoto, come di spazi non riempiti, goffo.
In mezzo numero si passa da troppo stretto a troppo largo.
Qualità dei materiali e delle rifiniture sono invece indiscutibili.

Mine had loose grain leather that creased very easily. The leather is also thin. The sole is glued on and not welted. Grip on the soles is good. Warm lining is great for winter. Fit is regular width due to the winter lining. It goes on discount often and I would not recommend this at full price.

Not having had a pair of Clarks since I was a child and thinking about the days I scrambled about everywhere in my 'Big Grippers' which also came with a big red rubber key ring I would brandish to anyone and everyone whether they were interested or not, I stumbled across these Chelsea boots.

I remembered how comfortable my childhood shoes used to be and decided to purchase these as they were just what I was after anf I was safe in the knowledge that it was a brand known and prided for snug and pleasant fit....or so I thought.

Once they were delivered I eagerly opened the box thinking all along that I had finally purchased something in my life which fit my age!

I have to admit, I loved the look of the boot but the leather looked coarse, almost scratchy or unfinished but still, it added a little to the look. I tried them on, expecting to swathe my little piggies in cottonwool clouds direct from shoemakers heaven.......and I did, for a whole second whilst I was listening too much to my brain rather than what my feet were telling me!

Once the nerve pulses from my feet finally pounded the blissful expectation of memory out of my brain I finally realised that these weren't the ambrosia of the foot world I had been expecting. They weren't initially uncomfortable, they were....well, just ordinary and a little hard. Again I convinced myself that maybe I just needed to wear them in a little bit, maybe that coarse, stratchy looking leather would give a bit over time and mould itself around my feet.

I went out, putting the underwhelming experience of my new boots (so far) behind me. Yes I walked a little in them, yes I had them on for a couple of hours, I had noticed that my feet were actually starting to hurt, not ache, actually hurt, it was painful to walk. I decided that I should sit down for a while and frequented a rather lovely watering hole. Once I'd sat down I realised that my skin was starting to itch, above the ankle where the top of the boot ended. I leant over to give myself a bit of relief and that's when I noticed - on both legs, the coarse leather was actually abbasive and had cut me in a circle all the way around where the top of thd boot had met my skin.

Im quite accustomed to wearing boots and this was abnormal for thd length of time I had Bern wearing these, I'd tied them up properly too, they weren't too tight and they weren't slack either so they shouldn't have rubbed.

I wrote to customer services to enquire if anyone else had similar experience with these boots and to give some friendly feedback so that hopefully they could prevent this happening to other customers in the future with this particular model or any future products they develop. Now - this is the bit that really annoyed me because when I wrote to Clarks, it wasn't a letter of complaint, it was a inquiry as to whether or not other people had similar experience, could it be that I have a sub standard pair - it happens I'm sure, it was what I tried to ensure wad a warm and friendly natured email. I sent photos of the marks and cuts I'd received from wearing these boots but wasn't looking to gain from anything. How long did I have to wait for a reply?........ I'm still waiting!!!!!!!!

Sorry but these boots have since walked their way to the bin, I'm disgusted by Clarks now. Never agsin will I trust this manufacturer when they can't reply to a simple email!

Heal started to flap. No returned policy on Amazon and no link to help to resolve. Before this I have had Clarks shoes as child and ever since. I don't know if it is the Internet that causes the lack of customer care, but it is not good enough. 80£ paid for these shoes and they last like 20£ knock off's. wrong time of year to pop... shame, over 45 years of wearing Clarks...

Bad laces, run big and arrived scuffed and scratched

Tried on my usual size of UK 11. I have wide feet and a high instep and these boots were surprising wide and easy to put on. Lots of room for the toes. My problem after receiving them was there was a big inch or so of room behind my heel. I would advise getting 1/2 down from trainer / normal size. As for quality I thought they looked and felt ok (especially if you get them in the sale). In the end I originally decided to order one size down but Amazon decided to put the price back up by another £35 so I sacked it off and decided to invest in some Thursday boots that would have a replaceable sole and better leather. If you can get these for £50 then do it! They seem very good. But bare in mind they run big, the laces are rubbish and mine arrived all scuffed and scratched like many others have.

Bargain of the century at £38. I wasn't planning on buying a 4th pair of boots this month but it was too cheap to pass on. Great quality. Extremely comfortable straight out of the box. No breaking in required. They have a fleecy lining covering the whole of the insides which makes them like wearing a big pair of nice warm slippers. Not sure what they'd be like in the summer. I'm a size 11, I ordered size 11 and they fit fine. Maybe slightly bigger than some might like but I prefer them a bit roomy. These are miles better than the Timberland's I just sent back.
