OMG daughter added a cap full, OMG had to rewash twice and still scenting, everyone smells me coming, odour reactive means if I get hotter the clothes I'm wearing smell more, good I guess, but 1/4 of cap is all you need

Unstoppables are scented beads designed to give a prolonged scent of freshly-washedness to your laundry. Each bottle comes with an outer cap which becomes a measuring cup, and an inner flip-top lid which you open to dispense the beads. The beads resemble nothing so much as the sweet 'millions' and as such, I strongly advise keeping it well out of sight or reach of young children.

You're instructed to put the beads straight into the drum before you put your laundry in. I heard from a friend that the beads swelled up and blocked her machine (?) and other reviews have also stated that the suggested dose is excessive. Thus, I filled the cup-cap to about half the depth of the first tide-line. This was a good amount - no residue was left either on clothes or in the machine, yet the scent came out very well. I found the 'fresh' scent better than 'active', but in general, they are both fresh-smelling - pleasantly noticeable without being overpowering.

This is a value box of 6, ideal for large families or people who have to do very frequent loads. However, I am concerned about the environmental impact of these beads however - almost the first thing I saw was the warning on the bottle that Unstoppables are harmful to aquatic life. I've been really reluctant to use them after that and have a hard time reconciling myself to it.

This 'Lenor Unstoppables Active In-Wash Scent Booster Beads 210g Pack of 6' product comprises a six pack of 210g containers of fabric conditioner beads, packaged in an outer cardboard box. First impressions were that this product really really needs to be kept out of reach of children, as the beads look exactly like Millions sweets. Second impression was that there is a GHS label on the back of the packaging saying that the product is harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects... this doesn't seem ideal in a product which is literally designed to be deposited into the sewers....

That aside, the product smells lovely, and makes your clothes smell great. The instructions say to put the beads into the washing machine drum and then put your clothes etc in - be aware that the beads ping all over the floor if you inadvertently rotate the drum when you're filling it! I am quite sensitive to perfumes but have not proved to be allergic to this one.

Environmental concerns aside, this product smells lovely and keeps your clothes smelling fresh in storage for longer than standard fabric conditioner products do.

The current site price is clearly wrong on these which doesn’t really help the review process, costing £59.99 for a 6 pack is crazy, after a bit of research they should be circa £3 each so £18 for a 6 pack.

As soon as you open the pack you are hit by the fragrance which is pretty strong, the beads themselves are quite small, with a placticy / waxy texture. Just putting half a cap full into your wash gives fantastic results, it’s actually quite unbelievable how fresh they make your clothes smell. Once you have washed everything in your wardrobe using them you can open your wardrobe door and be hit by the freshness. I especially like them used on towels but I would add that tumble drying after use is recommended, I found a line dried towel went a bit stiff and hard.

So I really love this product and can’t praise it highly enough but why do I have to pay extra for it? Why wouldn’t this be added to standard washing powder as an all in one?

A fresh, clean smell

There appear to be two sizes of Lenor Unstoppables about, a 285 gm tub and a 210 gm one, this is the 210 gm size and with the recommended dose of 13.5 gm you get 15 or 16 doses out of a tub. To use you just put some of the beads into the lid, the recommended dose is marked with a line, and then throw them into the washing machine drum followed by the clothes; the beads are described as inwash scent boosters so you also need fabric conditioner. I used this fragrance, Active, and it gave the clothes a fresh, clean smell, it isn't floral; it freshened the gym kit and worked well on the towels and bedding. Useful.

Fabulous scent, even on dry washing and no bad reactions here

I know that there are reports from some people of bad reactions, and that's horrible, but we had tried these before I had heard of anything like that and no-one in our household has reacted badly at all. We have tried a number of different fragrances and our washing has never smelled fresher. It is really fragrant, but fresh - not cloying and dried clothes smell really fragrant, not just wet washing. Less than half capful thrown in with the washing is all it takes. You can give it a major boost and add more, but that's plenty in my opinion - which means it lasts really well too.

The first time I used these I used more than half a cap full in with my washing load and the smell was quite overpowering and very artificial, obviously its a matter of preference but for me far too much.
A small amount used when washing some towels was much more successful and left them with a more delicate scent that I can still smell when going into the bathroom even though they've been used a few times.

I like them but less is certainly more in my opinion, these will last me a long time!
