I am so relieved to have given this product a try! The haakaa has allowed me to bf my baby and catch 1 to 2 oz on the other breast I can use to store. I was able to store a little over 6 oz for my freezer stash in one day. I love it thus far! 🤩🤩🤩

I use this every time I am breastfeeding my baby on the opposite breast. The suction gets a good amount of milk expressed during the breastfeeding duration so I always have plenty of leftover milk to store. The only complaint I have about the haaka is the designed shape of it. Since it’s shaped like a vase with a narrow base and it’s unevenly shaped at the top, it gets knocked over VERY easily. I have spilled milk many many times just from not perfectly placing it on the table next to me, so you just have to be careful when you set it down and where you set it. Other than that, I highly recommend.

This was the only pump I really used in the beginning and it helped me build up my freezer stock and saved me from engorgement when my little couldn't keep up.
Great for if you have a fast let down before feeding your babe.

Haaka is a must have for nursing moms! Especially in the beginning, but I still use mine 5 months in. So nice to be able to catch that extra milk you would have lost with your letdown. I wish I would have had one of these with my first two babies! They are the best! Not to mention you can use them to help relieve clogged ducts if you don’t want to pump.

Much smaller than I imagined this would be. Only ordered it as a backup plan since my pump hasn’t shipped yet and I’m due in two weeks. Packing in my hospital bag in case breastfeeding doesn’t work.

Ladies, just click "Add to Cart" right now. In fact, add a couple to your cart. I have 2 and I am so glad I bought that second one. The first time I used this, I was amazed. My baby nursed on one side and I had this suctioned to the other side. It caught about 2 oz of milk! I couldn't believe it. I texted a picture to my friend who also has a newborn and she was just as amazed and ordered one immediately. We both rave about this thing constantly. Every time I nurse, I suction the Haakaa onto the other breast and it catches all the let down. I then add that to a milk storage bag. Throughout the day, I am adding whatever I collect to the milk bag ( I make sure to put the Haakaa in the fridge so that the milk can get cold before I add it to the bag filled with cold milk). I can easily fill up 1 bag a day. Then I freeze that bag. I literally never pump because I have accumulated so much frozen milk this way!! I could get 2 bags if I always used the Haakaa during night time feeds, but I don't always use it then because I am too tired to bring it downstairs and store it in the fridge lol=One more tip I learned is to fold the top of the Haakaa back, press it and then suction it to your breast. You will get much better suction this way. Mine has never fallen off of me once. Please do yourself a favor and buy this!! You will not regret it.

This thing is amazing but there is a learning curve for getting the right suction so your not sitting there for thirty minutes. I use it on one boob while baby feeds on the other. Way better than using a pump but it does not empty my boob. Still working on mastering that but middle of the night engorgement is a thing of the past!

I have never written a product review before now because my feelings about a product have never been strong enough to warrant it. I say that so you understand the level of my feelings. My Haakaa pumps have been a breastmilk lifesaver. The first one I bought was so helpful that I bought another one within two weeks.

I like both equally well. The 4 ounce one is easier for me to attach but it doesn't have as stable of a bottom. The picture shows the amount of milk that I got from one breast during a morning pumping session. It's about 8 ounces. That much only happens if I've gotten a bit engorged. Typically a pumping session gives me about 4-5 ounces.

I am currently breastfeeding my second child. I didn't have a Haakaa for my first and it wouldn't have been helpful. Unfortunately with baby #1 I ended up exclusively pumping very early on and only used an electric pump. That worked very well for me because with only one child I was able to keep up a very structured pumping schedule. However, with baby #2 I am living anything but a structured life. It's a chaotic madhouse. It is very difficult to find time to sit at one of my electric pumps (I have 2 because I lived through exclusive pumping and having my only pump break down on me which resulted in a frantic trip to the store and me making sure to have a spare) but the Haakaa is so easy to use while breastfeeding my son.

My son typically only feeds from one side during a session. I place the Haakaa on the side that he's not going to nurse. Once it's on then I get him latched on the other breast. I learned early on to attach the Haakaa first before my son latches on. Typically after a few minutes the Haakaa is "full" and isn't drawing out any more milk. I will then break my son's latch before removing the Haakaa. I dump the milk in a storage container and reattach the Haakaa. I recommend having some kind of towel under your breast as you detach and attach the Haakaa so you don't drip milk on your clothes or child. I then will continue feeding my son and the Haakaa will start to fill up again. Depending on how full my breast is and how long my son nurses, I will "fill" the Haakaa two or three times. Be careful as the Haakaa fills. It will lose suction and can be dislodged by a well placed baby kick.

My Haakaa pumps have helped increase and maintain my milk supply. They are easy to use and clean. They have also helped me build up a healthy amount of extra milk to freeze. I do recommend watching a few YouTube videos about how to properly attach the Haakaa. It's not difficult but you will want to see it done before trying it yourself.

I saw this on a youtube video and just thought i would get it with no big hopes. This thing is just amazing. It almost pumps as much milk as i would get if i would use an electric pump plus it does not hurt. I adjust the vacuum few times to get more milk out. I have some freezer stash and I would not have had it without haaka. I have bought this for many friends and strongly advise people to get is if they would breast feed
